You don't happen to know anything about firearms, do you Ripper? I have a West German pistol from the late 50's coming to me sometime in the next week. A Tokagpyt Firebird. The big "West Germany" stamp drew me to it - dates it to a certain time in history and all that junk.

That's the one. It's actaully a Hungarian model of a Russian pistol made for the Egyptians, but they cancelled the order, and most of the pistols went to Germany. Easy to follow?
I've got a Polish Radom with German markings at home, and I have a P-38 made by Walther in 1941 that I'm picking up in the next month or 2.

One of my dad's coworkers is a big time collector of historic firearms. Sometimes he brings his newest purchases to work for show-off reasons, the crazy motherfucker, haha. His collection his really impressive, especially for a collector in Germany, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get stuff here from WW2 without being arrested hahahQuote:
